For Patients
NeedleCalm™ may be eligible for reimbursement through your NDIS plan if it relates to your disability support
needs.
To claim:
- Check your plan – NeedleCalm may be claimed under Consumables or Core Supports.
- Purchase your chosen NeedleCalm™ product – Keep your emailed invoice/receipt as proof of purchase.
- Submit your claim – Through the NDIS portal, your plan manager, or support coordinator.

For NDIS Support Coordinators & Plan Managers
NeedleCalm™ is a therapeutic medical device that may be claimed under NDIS plans when it supports a
participant’s health-related needs, such as reducing needle-related anxiety during medical procedures.
Claiming NeedleCalm™:
NDIS Category: Typically claimed under Consumables or Core Supports – Daily Living, depending on the
participant’s plan.
How to claim:
- Purchase the NeedleCalm™ device on behalf of the participant or advise them to do so directly.
- Retain the emailed invoice for reimbursement.
- Submit through the NDIS portal or managed funds platform.
